Definitions

Tiger Technology AD is a Bulgarian-based company, registered with the Bulgarian Commercial Register under UIC 207784293, having seat and registered address in Sofia 1172, Izgrev District, 54 G.M Dimitrov Boulvd., floor 2. Being established in a member state of the European Union, we are required to comply directly with the EU GDPR in regard to all of our data Processing operations.

For the provision of the Service, we act as a Data Controller under the EU GDPR and are responsible for the Processing of your Personal Data.

However, in certain exceptional cases, as specified in this Privacy Policy, the responsibility may rest with another Data Controller rather than Tiger Technology AD. This may occur, for example, when you access third-party websites or social media networks referenced by the Service.

2. What Categories of Personal Data We Collect

In order to access and use our licensing server available at https://license.tiger-technology.com/register.htm (the "Licensing Service"), you may be required to create an account. As part of this registration process, we collect and process certain Personal Data, including identification and contact details, as well as information related to your company and licensing requirements.

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

  • Physical identity: First name and last name;
  • Contact details: Phone number, Business email; Country; Address, State, Province, ZIP/Postal code, City;
  • Social identity: Business you represent or on whose behalf you act as contact person;

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

If you are from the European Economic Area (EEA), Tiger Technology AD's legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described in this Privacy Policy depends on the Personal Data we collect and the specific context in which we collect it.

We may process your Personal Data on the following legal grounds:

  • Your consent – Art. 6(1)(a) of the EU GDPR and Art. 6(1)(a) of the UK GDPR;
  • Compliance with a legal obligation – Art. 6(1)(c) of the EU GDPR and Art. 6(1)(c) of the UK GDPR;
  • Legitimate interests – Art. 6(1)(f) of the EU and UK GDPR, such as:
    • to provide, operate and maintain our Service;
    • to notify you of changes to the Service;
    • to analyse and improve our Service;
    • to monitor performance and prevent technical issues;
    • to provide you with information about similar products and services, unless you have opted out.

In addition, where you create an account and use our Licensing Service, we process your Personal Data for the performance of a contract pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) of the EU and UK GDPR. This includes:

  • creating and managing your user account;
  • issuing, activating and administering software licenses;
  • providing technical and customer support;
  • ensuring the proper functioning, security and integrity of the Licensing Service.

4. Who We Share Your Data With

Tiger Technology does not provide your Personal Data to third parties without your explicit consent, except where necessary for the performance of contractual obligations to you or when we consider such data sharing to be in our legitimate interest. For these reasons, we may share your Personal Data with:

  • Third party companies – Service Providers, which we employ to facilitate the provision of our Service to you, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analysing how our Service is used. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
  • Companies part of the Tiger Technology group (parent and subsidiary companies) – for intra-group administration purposes (management of database, producing group-wide statistics, etc.).

In some cases, we will act as a controller, processor or joint-controller under the EU GDPR when collecting your personal data and sending it to the other Tiger group companies in the course of provision of our Services, in a more effective way, by a company within the group closer to you.

If Tiger Technology AD is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred to the acquiring or merging company. We will provide you a separate notice before your Personal Data is shared for this purpose, informing of your rights with respect to this data sharing process.

We may be required to disclose your Personal Data if mandated to do so by law or in response to valid requests made by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency). We will do so in accordance with our obligation under Article 6(1)(c).

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to – and maintained on – computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

If you are located outside Bulgaria and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to Bulgaria and process it there.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

Tiger Technology AD will take all the steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organisation or a country unless there are adequate controls established by European Commission in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

With respect to data transfers from or to USA, which we make within our corporate structure and for the better performance of our services, Tiger Technology AD takes all necessary measures (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses, Transfer Impact Assessment) to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to another organisation or a country, unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your Personal Data.

Legal Requirements

Tiger Technology AD may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • To comply with a legal obligation
  • To protect and defend the rights or property of Tiger Technology AD
  • To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service
  • To protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public

Security of Data

5. How Long We Retain Your Information Before Deleting It Securely
